The invention relates to a method for using a multimedia content by a user terminal (1; 2A; 2B), the multimedia content comprising at least audio data and subtitle data associated with the audio data, the audio data and the associated subtitle data relating to at least one speaker of the audio data, the method of use comprising, following a request from the user by means of a user interface of the terminal, a simultaneous reproduction at least a part of the audio data of the associated multimedia content, prior to reproduction, to an identifier of a speaker of the audio data of the part of audio data, the speaker's identifier having been determined from the sub- titles associated with the audio data of the multimedia content; and - the identifier of the speaker associated with the portion of audio data reproduced.
