Combination dining turntable that is extended indefinitely

A turntable for use on a dining table comprising a modular base 10 with a plurality of rectangular or curved connecting plates 11 which define an endless track 12 and a modular rotary unit 20 mounted on the track 12 with a plurality of linked pieces 21 which form an endless shape each with a roller 24 to allow the rotary unit to move along the track 12 of the base 10. The linked pieces 21 may have additional engaging means in the form of a toothed rack 2111 wherein adjacent ones are staggered relative to each other and wherein the engagement allows for the pieces to form a curved shape. The device may also be provided with a motorised transmission which utilises gears and teeth on the rotating unit to drive movement. The modular nature of the device is designed to allow for use on different size table.
