Landing string for landing a tubing hanger in a production bore of a wellhead

A tubing hanger landing string comprising a tubing hanger running tool 90 and a slick joint 40 provided with a production bore 43 connected to a production bore 93 of the running tool. An annulus access port 55 is provided in an outer periphery of the slick joint or in an outer periphery of a part of the landing string located below the slick joint. A remotely controlled valve device 56 is provided in the landing string, the valve device being remotely adjustable between an open position, in which the annulus access port is connected to the annulus bore 95 of the running tool, and a closed position, in which the annulus access port is disconnected from the annulus bore of the running tool.
