Vector network analyser calibration system

The arrangement has a calibration component (2.1,2.2,2.3,2.n) with a transponder (4). The transponder has a non-volatile memory, which contains a type of the component and an individual identification number as invariable data and contains multiple calibration processes as variable data. The multiple calibration processes are executed with the calibration components. The vector network analyzer has a wireless interface for reading out the invariable data of the respective calibration components and for incrementing the stored multiple calibration processes.
