COMMUNICATION METHOD IN A PROFINET COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

The present invention provides a communication method in a PROFINET communication system, in which according to the real-time application requirements of a service, a preset data transmission cycle is divided into N periods, with the N periods including at least two of: a high real-time (HRT) communication period, a low real-time (LRT) communication period and a non-real-time (NRT) communication period; and an access point (AP) is used for carrying out data transmission according to an HRT transmission mechanism during the HRT communication period within the data transmission cycle, for carrying out data transmission according to an LRT transmission mechanism during the LRT communication period, and for carrying out data transmission according to an NRT transmission mechanism during the NRT communication period. By way of this method, the demand for applications with different real-time requirements to coexist during PROFINET communication can be satisfied.
