The invention concerns the preparation of novel perfluoroalkyl surfactants of cationic type (amine oxide), anionic (carboxylate salts), amphoteric, carboxybetain and sulphobetain, non-ionic (polyoxyethylated and/or propylated amine ether) derived from substituted amides not having any sulphonyl group (SO2) directly bound to the perfluorinated chain and having -NHCO- and -CONH- sequences. The compounds of the invention are used as hydrophobic and oil-repellent agents or as additives in fire-extinguishing foams to improve their fireproof property.
