BROADCASTING OF DATA FILES AND FILE REPAIR PROCEDURE WITH REGARDS TO THE BROADCASTED DATA FILES

A BM-SC, and a method for the MB-SC to transmit data in a broadcast session to at least one UE, in a radio communication system, and a UE and a method for the UE to receive a broadcast session from a BM-SC are provided. The method in the BM-SC comprises determining to transmit the data file to the at least one UE, and determining a FEC redundancy level to use for the transmission, after which information, indicating failure, by at least one UE to correctly decode the transmitted data, is used by the BM-SC for determining how to proceed with the transmission of said data. Correspondingly, the method in the UE comprises reception of data and an associated FEC redundancy level, decoding at least part of the data by employing the FEC redundancy level, determining that at least a part of the data was unsuccessfully decoded, transmit information of the unsuccessful decoding to the BM-SC, after which the UE determines how to handle the not yet received data.
