The present invention relates to a method for operating resources by a first apparatus in a wireless local area network (WLAN) system supporting a multi-user transmission scheme. The method comprises the following processes of: determining the number of acceptable resource allocation request messages at a specific point in time; and transmitting information related to the number of acceptable resource allocation request messages. When the first apparatus is possible to allocate resources to a second apparatus which has transmitted a resource allocation request message at the specific point in time, the resource allocation request message can be accepted.
