The terminal device includes: an operation input unit that receives, from a user, an instruction relating to the first and second valuable item management devices; an acquisition unit that acquires first and second information based on the received instruction, the first information indicating a process to be performed by the first valuable item management device, the second information relating to the process performed by the first valuable item management device and indicating a process to be performed by the second valuable item management device; and a communication unit transmits the acquired first information to the first valuable item management device, and transmits the acquired second information to the second valuable item management device.
