摘要

A quartz glass filter material doped with titanium oxide or gallium oxide is known. The edge wavelength »c lies in the wavelength range from 230 to 250 nm. These materials are therefore unsuitable as filter material for working radiation with a wavelength of less than 230 nm. In order to indicate a filter material of doped quartz glass, which should provide the highest possible transparency for working radiation in the ultraviolet spectral range above 210 nm with low transparency in the wavelength range below about 190 nm, we proposed according to the invention that the quartz glass to at least 99 wt. % consists of SiO 2 and Al 2 O 3, wherein the Al 2 O 3 content is in the range of 1.5 to 6 wt .-%.
