PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide methods for introducing molecules of interest into a plant cell having a cell-wall by using dendrimers and optionally one or more cell penetrating peptides (CPP).SOLUTION: Provided is a method for introducing a molecule of interest into a plant cell having a cell wall to effect stable transformation of a plant and seeds, comprising the steps of: providing a plant cell having a cell wall; generating partially degraded polyamideamine dendrimer by heating a polyamideamine dendrimer in a solvolytic solvent; interacting the partially degraded polyamideamine dendrimer and one or more CPP with a molecule of interest to form activated dendrimer structure; placing the cell having a cell wall and the activated dendrimer structure in contact with each other; and permitting uptake of the activated dendrimer and the molecule of interest into the clad cell having a cell wall.SELECTED DRAWING: None
