PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a patient chair equipped with a lifting device, the lifting device being structured compact yet capable of lifting in larger strokes.;SOLUTION: The lifting device comprises: a cylinder having a piston which moves horizontally; an upper stage link disposed between a seat part and the cylinder; and a lower stage link disposed between the cylinder and a floor. The upper stage link and the lower stage link include: a connecting member fixed to the seat part or to the floor; a cylinder connecting member fixed to the cylinder, a first link element connected to the connecting member and to the cylinder connecting member by pivotable contacts; a second link element connected to the connecting member and to the cylinder connecting member by pivotable contacts; and a third link element connected to the piston and to the second link element by pivotable contacts. The line connecting the two contacts of the first link and the line connecting the two contacts of the second link are parallel to each other. In a position in which the seat part and the floor are most closest to each other, the contact with the connecting member of the second link is arranged nearer to the axis of the piston than the contact with the cylinder member.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
