PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high functional carbon/carbon composite material high in breakage strain energy of a manufactured carbon/carbon composite material and low in material anisotropy.;SOLUTION: There is provided a carbon/carbon composite material which contains a continuous carbon fiber tow or a short fiber carbon fiber as a reinforced fiber and petroleum and/or coal-based binder pitch powder having softening resistance and petroleum and/or coal-based coke powder having no softening resistance as starting materials of a matrix component and has a constitution with volume percentage content of the reinforced fiber of 15% to 25% and a ratio of a heat conductivity KL in a fiber direction of the carbon/carbon composite material and heat conductivity KT in a direction with a right angle with the fiber direction, KT/KL of 0.5.;SELECTED DRAWING: None;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
