PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable safe operations for introducing/withdrawing a cylindrical body in/from the foundation and extracting an existing pile from the foundation, by supporting a work machine stably even if a work site is narrow.SOLUTION: When a cylindrical body 8 is introduced in a determined position P1 on the foundation 9, a method for introducing/withdrawing a cylindrical body in/from the foundation comprises a preparation step of introducing to a work site a work machine 1 integrally provided with a cylinder introduction/withdrawal mechanism 2 capable of introducing the cylindrical body 8 in the foundation 9 and a clamp mechanism 3 capable of holding a cylindrical support body 80 buried in a state that an opening at the top edge faces the surface of the foundation 9, a first work step of conducting an operation of introducing the cylindrical support body 80 in positions P2 and P3 before the position P1 and burying, and a second work step of localizing the cylinder introduction/withdrawal mechanism 2 of the work machine 1 in the position P1 in a state that the clamp mechanism 3 of the work machine 1 holds the cylindrical support body 80 and conducting an operation of introducing the cylindrical body 8 in the foundation 9.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
