PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water bottom electromagnetic survey system that can accurately and efficiently search for metal mineral resources under the seabed.SOLUTION: In a seabed survey system, a transmission coil 100 and a reception unit 110 of an electromagnetic survey device are placed on a towed body 20 towed underwater via a towing rope 12 by a submerging mobile body 10. The reception unit 110 receives an electromagnetic wave caused by an electromagnetic induction phenomenon that occurs at a water bottom when current is made to flow through the transmission coil 100 in the state of the towed body 20 being towed to produce a magnetic field toward the water bottom, and the current is drastically cut off.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
