PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for testing a briquette capable of being applied as an index of an operation condition of a briquette facility for manufacturing the briquette.SOLUTION: The method for testing a briquette is a test method of the briquette manufactured by using dust generated from a rotary kiln, a predetermined number of the briquette is charged into a cylindrical container 10, the briquette is dropped in the container 10 by rolling the container 10 to which the briquette is charged at a predetermined rotational speed, a granule is discharged from the container 10 and the granular is sieved by a sieve with opening of 10 mm. Thereby drop strength R1=W1/W2, where W1 is weight of the granular on the sieve and W2 is weight of whole briquette charged to the container 10, is calculated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
