PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a positive operation*management of maintenance of a vertical sinking type vortex pump assuring abrasion resistance property.;SOLUTION: This invention relates to a management method for a vertical sinking type vortex pump 100 for transferring molten material of exudation residual of 110°C or higher and 150°C or less with main component of sulfur having metallic sulfide exudated chloride to a batch type filter device 30. The management method comprises a step for adjusting an inverter frequency and starting an operation of the pump to cause a current value of an electric motor 102 for the pump to become a set value after installation of the pump; a step for measuring liquid application time from a charging of molten exudation residual of molten material just after starting an operation of the pump to a time in which a liquid pressure at an input side of the batch type filter device is increased to a set value and setting the measured time as a standard time; and a step for increasing the inverter frequency to cause the liquid application time to become the same as the standard time when the liquid application time is judged to be longer than the standard time upon comparison between the liquid application time and the standard time.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
