PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an acrylamide-based polymer capable of enhancing paper durability satisfactorily and reducing content of (meth)acrylamide and a paper durability enhance containing the acrylamide-based polymer.SOLUTION: There is provided an acrylamide-based polymer containing (meth)acrylamide, a quaternary ammonium-based monomer and (meth)allylsulfonate as well as an acrylamide-based polymer obtained by polymerization of a monomer mixture containing no crosslinkable monomer containing nitrogen and no tertiary amino-based monomer, a paper durability enhancer containing the polymer and further an anionic polymerizable monomer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
