PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat exchange type ventilation device which may be housed in a general purpose ventilation hole and does not protrude to an indoor side and an outdoor side of the ventilation hole.SOLUTION: A heat exchange type ventilation device 10 includes: a hollow cylindrical case 11 which may be inserted into a ventilation hole 2 penetrating through a wall 1 between an indoor space and an outdoor space and is shorter than a length of the ventilation hole 2; a heat reservoir 12 housed in the case 11 and enabling ventilation; and a fan 13 housed in the case 11 and positioned closer to the outdoor side than the heat reservoir 12 in the ventilation hole 2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
