PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a human colorectal and pancreatic carcinoma-associated antigen (CPAA) and peptide in the form of a diagnostic compound and/or pharmaceutical composition useful for a diagnostic method and/or therapeutic method for diagnosing and/or treating pathological conditions related to colorectal cancer and pancreatic cancer.SOLUTION: According to the present invention, a recombinant monoclonal antibody used as a diagnostic tool for the early detection of cancers or an immunohistochemical tool for distinguishing between slow pancreatic cancer and aggressive pancreatic cancer using a monoclonal antibody or part (peptide) of the monoclonal antibody, which has specificity to an antigen and epitope of CPAA.SELECTED DRAWING: None
