PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To rotate a fitting nut 8 without rotating a faucet body 1.;SOLUTION: A faucet A is composed of a faucet body 1 of a wall surface, a water cutoff valve 3 provided in a swollen part 2 in the middle of its faucet body, a spindle 4 extending above its water cutoff valve, a handle 5 on the upper end of its spindle and a faucet pipe 6 connected via a fitting nut 8 to a male screw part 7 on the tip of the faucet body. One rod-like jig 10 is fitted from its side surface to the fitting nut 8, and the other rod-like jig 20 is fitted to a lower part of the swollen part 2. In this state, both jigs are approached by gripping by one hand. At this time, since fastening force of the fitting nut is normally smaller than fitting strength to a wall of the faucet body, rotating of the faucet body to the wall is extremely reduced, and one jig is rotated with its faucet body side as a rotational fulcrum, and the fitting nut 8 is rotated in the loosening direction. When the fitting nut 8 loosens by this action, the fitting nut is further rotated by hand by removing both jigs from the faucet body, and the faucet pipe with the fitting nut is removed from the faucet body 1.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1C;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
