PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect an intermittent connection type optical fiber tape with high accuracy even when the core number of the intermittent connection type optical fiber tape increases.SOLUTION: The method for inspecting an intermittent connection type optical fiber tape comprises: repeatedly imaging the optical fiber tape in the width direction while moving the intermittent connection type optical fiber tape having connection parts connecting between adjacent optical fibers in the longitudinal direction and intermittently arranged to store the one dimensional image of the optical fiber tape in the width direction; and arranging a plurality of stored one dimensional images in a second direction orthogonal to a first direction arranging pixels constituting the one dimensional image to prepare the two dimensional image of the optical fiber tape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
