LIGHT-WEIGHT HIGH-DENSITY WOVEN FABRIC HAVING AIR PERMEABILITY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a woven fabric in which a twist and a slip-out of stitches that may occur by providing gaps in a filament woven fabric is prevented and thereby to solve the problems of a light-weight high-density woven fabric that is composed of filament yarns and is provided with gaps for ensuring moderate air permeability to prevent stuffiness when sweat.SOLUTION: The light-weight high-density woven fabric has a cover factor of 1550-2300 and a basis weight of 15-55 g/m. The woven fabric includes a pattern formed by gaps and satisfies the following conditions (i)-(iv): (i) the gap rate is 0.5-14%; (ii) the distance between the gaps is 3.5-50 mm; (iii) both edges of the gap portion have a flat structure; and (iv) the gaps are obtained by resolving and removing easily soluble fibers intermingled with slightly soluble fibers overall or partially.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
