PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a commodity recommendation service method by relative comparison, and a recommendation service device.SOLUTION: A commodity recommendation service method includes: a commodity ranking setting stage (S100) for setting the ranking of commodities for each user on the basis of preference commodity selection of a plurality of users by relative comparison with respect to a plurality of commodities according to a taste of each of the users; a similar taste user determination stage (S200) for intraindividually comparing the ranking of commodities set by a specific user with the ranking of commodities set by one or more users other than the specific user and determining other users having a taste similar to that of the specific user; and a commodity recommendation stage (S300) for recommending a commodity to the specific user on the basis of the ranking of commodities set by other users having the taste similar to that of the specific user.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
