PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nitrogen immobilization material capable of maintaining a nitrogen immobilization reaction for long time with high in nitrogen immobilization yield, and provide a nitrogen immobilization method capable of maintaining a nitrogen immobilization reaction for long time with high in nitrogen immobilization yield.;SOLUTION: There is provided a nitrogen immobilization material containing a p-type conductive polymer to which anion is doped and metal oxide semiconductor nanoparticles other than titanium oxide and zinc oxide or non-semiconductive metal oxide nanoparticles or degenerated semiconductive metal oxide nanoparticles. There is provided a nitrogen immobilization method by conducting a light irradiation to the nitrogen immobilization material containing the p-type conductive polymer to which anion is doped and the metal oxide semiconductor nanoparticles other than titanium oxide and the zinc oxide or non-semiconductive metal oxide nanoparticles or the degenerated semiconductive metal oxide nanoparticles in atmosphere containing a nitrogen gas and moisture to generate ammonium salt and ammonia on a surface of the nitrogen immobilization material.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
