PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent screen with a light scattering coating film which contains an inorganic oxide polymer as a medium and yet exhibits both transparency and a light scattering property.SOLUTION: A light scattering coating film contains a "complex" comprising "modified particles," or high refractive coefficient particles, such as diamond, whose surfaces are modified by a surface-modifying polymer, dispersed in an inorganic oxide polymer medium. When a sum (A+B+C) of mass (A) of the high refractive index particles, mass (B) of the surface modifying polymer, and mass (C) of the inorganic oxide medium is defined as 100 mass%, A/(A+B+C) shall be 1.0-10.0 mass%, and B/A shall be 4.0 or greater.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
