PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance a degree of freedom in rotating, moving, and enlarging/reducing a 3D object.;SOLUTION: A 3D coordinate detection system includes: an electronic pen having a light-emitting unit, and a button which generates a signal for entering 3D object operation mode which enables 3D object operation when in ON state; and an information processing apparatus comprising a display unit for displaying a 3D object, imaging units arranged at both top ends of the display unit to image the light-emitting unit, a coordinate detection unit which detects 3D coordinates of the electronic pen on the basis of images of the light-emitting unit captured by the imaging units, and a control unit which selects hovering operation mode where the 3D object is directly rotated, moved, or enlarged/reduced along with the motion of the electronic pen, when the button of the electronic pen is ON, in a predetermined area on a front surface of the display unit, or writing operation or gesture operation is enabled in the predetermined area, while the 3D object remains still, when the button is OFF.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
