PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a support shaft of a meter box to be easily replaced.;SOLUTION: A support shaft replacement method of a meter box 1 comprises: a process A to remove a support shaft 12; a process B to form a hole 41 on a support shaft wall part 21 of a housing 10; a process C to insert an insertion part 36 of a replacing support shaft 30 into the hole 41 and fix the replacing support shaft 30 to the housing 10.
