PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toilet seat which goes up and down for assisting the user's sitting/standing motions while using the western-style toilet bowl.SOLUTION: A lifting device rising/falling while changing the angle is attached to a western-style toilet bowl, a toilet seat which rises up while increasing the angle from the horizontal level falls down while gradually returning the angle to the horizontal level so that the weight can be gradually moved from the user's legs to the toilet seat by leaning the ussr's hip when he/she sits on it, and rises while increasing the angle so that the weight can be shifted from the toilet seat to the legs gradually, thus, the toilet seat enables the user to stand up without loads on the legs and the knees when he/she stands up.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
