PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for hiding bandwidth reduction of Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) call voice.;SOLUTION: A method implemented by a computer may include: during a call session between a transmitting side electronic device and a receiving side electronic device, a stage of controlling a bit rate for the transmitting side electronic device according to a degree of network congestion detected based on packet data received from the transmitting side electronic device in the receiving side electronic device, a stage of determining whether the bandwidth extension is enabled based on the bit rate of the received packet data during the call session at the receiving electronic device, and a stage of transmitting the controlled bit rate to the transmitting side electronic device by the receiving side electronic device.
