PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot rolled steel strip which is an intermediate product of a nonoriented electromagnetic steel sheet having suppressed abnormal grain growth and large in average grain diameter of crystals and is excellent in sheet passing property.;SOLUTION: Employed is a hot rolled steel stripe for nonoriented electromagnetic steel sheet having a composition containing, by mass%, C:0.003% or less, Si:0.1% to 4.5%, Mn:0.1% to 1.5%, N:0.003% or less, S:0.004% or less and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities and having the following relational expression (1) between intermediate value m of maximum grain size and minimum grain size and grain size n with maximum number rate of crystal grain number in a crystal grain size distribution represented in common logarithm by measuring circle equivalent grain diameter (μm) of crystal grains in a cross section including a rolling direction of the hot rolled steel stripe and a sheet surface vertical direction of the hot rolled steel stripe. nm (1).;SELECTED DRAWING: None;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
