PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting unit and a dredging system using the lifting unit, and a lifting method and a dredging method using them; which is low-cost and has superior work efficiency and measurement accuracy even being small in scale.;SOLUTION: A lifting unit 100 in the present invention comprises: a main lifting device 2 which is lifted down in an almost horizontal posture from a crane 5; a main-body holding part 101 which holds a main body 102 to be lifted and is capable of adjusting own floatation by a main-body ballast tank 24; an intermediate lifting device 3, which is located between the main lifting device 2 and the main-body holding part 101, and is capable of adjusting floatation by an intermediate ballast tank 20; and a folding-and-extending structure 14, in which connection wires 10, 11 are folded with use of restricting wires 8, 9 and are inserted at least either between the main-body holding part 101 and the intermediate lifting device 3 or between the main lifting device 2 and the intermediate lifting device 3, for extending the connection wires 10, 11, the restricting wires 8, 9 are disconnected at a low-tension state, then the connection wires 10, 11 are arranged almost parallel with each other by raising the main lifting device 2 and the intermediate lifting device 3 leaving the main-body holding part 101 and the intermediate lifting device 3 at the water surface 59.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
