PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diurnal change prediction program, a diurnal change prediction device, and a diurnal change prediction method with which it is possible to eliminate effects due to regional characteristics or seasonal changes, etc., other than the solar movement, and predict a diurnal change of physical quantity dependent on the solar movement at a prescribed point with high accuracy.;SOLUTION: A diurnal change prediction program causes a computer to function as: an observation time normalization unit for normalizing, with a possible duration of sunshine, the time-series data of physical quantity observed at a prescribed point the observation time of day of which is converted to a local true solar time; a physical quantity dimensionless unit for making the physical quantity of the time-series data dimensionless; a diurnal change function generation unit for generating a diurnal change function formed by averaging together the dimensionless physical quantities for a plurality of days that have the same normalized observation time and approximating the averaged physical quantity; and a diurnal change prediction unit for predicting a diurnal change of physical quantity on the basis of the diurnal change function.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
