PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique with which it is possible to convey an external sound to a user as if the user did not wear a headset.SOLUTION: A headset includes active noise control using an internal microphone 28 and an external microphone 32. A processor 42 is provided with a feedback filter 46 adjusted so as to attenuate a low frequency that corresponds to the component of a sound signal conveyed by bone conduction, and a feed-forward filter 58 adjusted so as to compensate for attenuation brought about by feedback filtering and for passive acoustic attenuation brought about between the outside and inside of the headset. A voice activity detector 60 performs dynamic switching between a pair of different transfer functions (H, H) applied to the feedback function 46 and the feed-forward function 58.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
