PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the signal-to-noise ratio in observation of Raman scattered light, by reducing the influence of background light (mainly, fluorescence) overlapping Raman scattered light and Gaussian noise.;SOLUTION: An observation device 100 includes a measurement unit 110, an analysis unit 120, and a control unit 130. When the control unit 130 commands a light emission unit 20 to start laser radiation to a sample 10, a light receiving section 111 of the measurement unit 110 collects Raman scattered light and fluorescence from the sample 10, and a recording unit 113 repeatedly records, for a certain time, spectral data of the spectroscopic result by a spectroscopic unit 112. The analysis unit 120 analyzes the recorded spectral data using multivariable analysis, separates the spectrum of the Raman scattered light from that of the fluorescence, and improves the signal-to-noise ratio.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
