ROI SETTING TECHNOLOGY FOR BIOLOGICAL IMAGE INSPECTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To set an ROI in a biological image analysis on the basis of an accumulation situation of a radiopharmaceutical.SOLUTION: A technology is used for setting an ROI for biological image inspection. The technology according to one preferred embodiment includes execution of: first conversion of using a positive template to anatomically standardize a nuclear medicine image obtained by applying a radiopharmaceutical to a subject; second conversion of using a negative template to anatomically standardize the nuclear medicine image; calculation of similarity between the first anatomically standardized image obtained through the first conversion and the positive template; calculation of similarity between the second anatomically standardized image obtained through the second conversion and the negative template; and application of inverse conversion to either conversion of the first conversion and the second conversion, which makes the calculated similarity higher, to an ROI template in order to set the ROI.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
