PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a determining tool for tire deterioration capable of efficiently determining without mixing up the determination results of several pneumatic tires, and to provide a method for determining possibility of tire reclamation using the determining tool.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for determining possibility of reclaiming a pneumatic tire T using a determining tool 10 for tire deterioration by detachably loading the determining tool 10 which has such a characteristic that at least one parameter varies accompanying deterioration of the tire T and is equipped with the determining tool identifying information identifiable every individual piece to the inner face S of the tire T having such an identifying information. The tire identifying information and the determining tool identifying information are recorded in association with each other. The tool 10 is taken out of the inner face S of the tire T at tire reclamation, and the parameter of the taken-out tool 10 is measured. Based on the measured parameter, whether the tire T corresponding to the tool 10 is reclaimable or not is determined.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
