PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simulation device capable of performing simulation from a blade surface shape to a tooth form, or simulation in a reverse direction in processing of a toothed gear.SOLUTION: A simulation device 100 comprises: a storage part 110 for storing a shape of a workpiece, information of a cross section of a part which becomes a toothed gear which requires simulation on the workpiece, and information of plural definition points indicating a blade surface shape of a processing tool; a first calculation part 120 for calculating plural passage points on a three-dimensional coordinate system when the plural definition points pass the cross section of the tooth form when processing of a toothed gear is performed; a second calculation part 130 for making the cross section in the three-dimensional coordinate system parallel to a plane formed by prescribed two axes, for performing conversion calculation of the plural passage points on the three-dimensional coordinate system into the two dimensional coordinate system; and a third calculation part 140 for determining a shape of the tooth form formed on the workpiece on the two dimensional coordinate system based on the plural passage points on the two dimensional coordinate system.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
