PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood leakage detection device capable of suppressing false recognition due to a peripheral red pattern.SOLUTION: A blood leakage detection device 1 is a device for detecting blood leakage by a change of a puncture needle 11 for supplying liquid to a patient 90 or collecting blood from the patient 90 from a puncture state in which the puncture needle is inserted into a puncture region 91 of the patient 90 to a state in which the needle is removed, and includes a cover member 20 for covering the puncture region 91 including a marker region MR where a marker M is provided, an imaging device 30 for collecting image data of the cover member 20, and an image processing device 40 for analyzing an image of the marker region MR contained in the image data and determining whether or not there is blood leakage in the marker region MR.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
