PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication mediation device which, when a terminal device is located out of a communicable range in a state that an IP address is allocated to the terminal device, can release the IP address before the lapse of a longest lease time set to the IP address.;SOLUTION: The communication mediation device includes: a communication unit and a release notification unit. The communication unit performs communication with a server, which sets a first time to an IP address and allocates to the terminal device an IP address, to which a second time shorter than the first time is set, and the terminal device. The release notification unit notifies that the IP address is released to the server, in place of the terminal device, when the terminal device does not transmit an instruction to extend the lease time of the IP address before the lapse of the second time.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
