PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing mechanism for opening and closing a center folding type opening and closing cover stably.;SOLUTION: A center folding type opening and closing cover 10 including a first rotatable cover member 11 supported by a fixed shaft 23 in the horizontal direction, and a second cover member 12 coupled rotatably for the first rotatable cover member 11 by a movable shaft 25 parallel with the fixed shaft 23, and provided on the upper surface of the machine body of a work machine further includes a pair of guide rollers 35 provided at the opposite ends of the second cover member 12 in the horizontal direction, and a groove type guide rail 33 constituting the movement locus of the guide rollers 35.
