PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel techniques for eliminating the influence of meniscus.;SOLUTION: Provided is a method of observing cells in a culture medium inside of a well in a well plate for cell culture having a well with an opening surface in the upper surface of the plate and having a convex bank portion which does not contact to the opening surface on the upper surface of the plate while surrounding the periphery of the opening surface of the well, the method being characterized by observing the cells after adding a culture medium until the liquid height exceeds the upper surface of the plate.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3;COPYRIGHT: (C)2018,JPO&INPIT
