PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately estimate a channel response while using a pilot symbol having a required and sufficient time length in an SC-MIMO system.SOLUTION: A CP (cyclic prefix) is added to data by two SC block configuration parts of a transmitting device, a UW (unique word) for estimating a channel response is set as a pilot symbol, and block information for identifying a first block and a second block in MIMO signal separation is set, thereby generating the first block and the second block consisting of continuous two UWs, block information, CP and data. Regarding the first block, two continuous UWs are set by one block configuration part and regarding the second block, two continuous UWs are set with the same phase as the UWs of the first block. Regarding the second block, two continuous UWs are set with phases reverse to the UWs of the first block by the other SC block configuration part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
