PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unauthorized use of a credit card.;SOLUTION: A credit card (1) includes: a sign panel (9) having a magnetic body layer (7); means of storing a card member number, and a personal identification number of a card member identified by the card member number; means of reading a pattern which is recorded as a magnetized part and a nonmagnetized part on the magnetic body layer (7), and converting it into a decimal digit sequence; means of transmitting the decimal digit sequence to a settlement terminal together with the card member number and the personal identification number; means of erasing a pattern when a pattern erasure instruction from the settlement terminal is received; and means of erasing the pattern when a button (10) is pressed.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
