PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drowsiness determination device and drowsiness determination method capable of accurately determining the drowsiness state of an occupant.SOLUTION: A drowsiness determination device 100 includes: an input section 110 for receiving vehicle information indicating a movement amount of a vehicle posture with respect to a road surface and also receiving head part information indicating a movement amount of a head part of an occupant with respect to a predetermined position; and a determination section 120 for determining whether an occupant has drowsiness on the basis of the vehicle information and the head part information. When the vehicle posture is moved, the determination section 120 determines that the occupant has drowsiness on condition that the head part of the occupant is moved in a direction being the same as the movement direction of a vehicle posture and also delay time of the point of time when the head part of the occupant is moved with respect to the point of time when the vehicle posture is moved is longer than a predetermined time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
