PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of exchanging a first kind of currency for a second kind of currency.SOLUTION: A user reads an exchange code generated by a point of sale exchange machine by using an Internet-connected mobile computing device, transmits the exchange code and payment information to a point of sale exchange machine company server, transfers a currency from an account of the user to an account of a point of sale exchange machine company. An authentication code is transmitted to the mobile computing device of the user. The user inputs the received authentication code into the point of sale exchange machine, and exchanges a first kind of credit or currency for a second kind of credit or currency.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
