PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proposal assistance method for presenting a user with proposal content that is highly likely to succeed based on a past proposal history.;SOLUTION: A proposal history registered in a proposal assistance DB 3 is analyzed to generate an index of proposals with a success record as candidates for the next proposal by proposal history analysis means S107. When the proposal history is registered by proposal history registration means S102, the candidates for the next proposal are extracted by proposal candidate extraction means S103 using the proposal history and the index, and are displayed on a display unit by a proposal candidate display means S104.
