PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method that evaluates spectacle lenses in more detail on the basis of a distribution of a visual acuity value.SOLUTION: A spectacle progressive refractive power lens evaluation method is configured to: obtain a visual acuity distribution 31 created on the basis of a corresponding relation between various combinations of refractive power and astigmatism, and visual acuity to be attained by a lens with the combination, in which the corresponding relation is estimated when viewed through a progressive refractive power lens by a wearer, created for a plurality of gaze target distances, and obtained on the basis of test results with respect to a plurality of subjects conducted for respective gaze target distances,; and evaluate the progressive refractive power lens in accordance with a use area set on the basis of the visual acuity distribution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
