PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of cutting only a hard sediment accumulated within a structure and recovering the same without accompanying with exchanging the cutting-head and without damaging the structure.;SOLUTION: A sediment recovery method repeats a cutting step of cutting a part of a sediment S accumulated in a structure C by using an AWJ cutting device 1, and a recovery step of recovering a recovery piece P cut out from the sediment S by the cutting step. The cutting step performs a first cutting step of injecting a jet flow from a first direction inclined to a virtual vertical lines Z-Z erected on the sediment and putting a first cut N1 on a part of the sediment S; and a second cutting step of injecting a jet flow from a second direction opposite to the first direction through the virtual vertical lines Z-Z and putting a second cut N2 reaching a top end of the first cut NI at the top end.;SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3;COPYRIGHT: (C)2017,JPO&INPIT
