PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and easily confirm whether a value of an input/output signal of a PLC currently shows an ON state or an OFF state in the PLC during a work at a controlled apparatus side with request to the input/output signal of the PLC.SOLUTION: A maintenance support device of a PLC (20) comprises: a signal identification tag reading part (1) for reading a signal address from signal identification tags (31 to 33) attached to input/output signal cables (41 to 43) of the PLC, and for specifying a signal address of an input/output signal cable; a transmission part (2) for transmitting the signal address specified by the signal identification tag reading part to the PLC; a reception part (3) for receiving an ON/OFF state of a signal corresponding to the transmitted signal address from the PLC; and a display part (4) for displaying the ON/OFF state of the received signal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
